Seth Yeboah Ocran

Seth Yeboah Ocran is the Founder/Chief Executive Officer of YOKS Investment Limited. With Subsidiaries such as YOKS Rent–A–Car, and YOKS Travel & Tours Limited. As part of his Corporate Social Responsibilities Seth, Co-founded Creating New Beginnings (CNB) a Charity Organization in Ghana, and Ankah Soma Asona Royal Foundation. Seth went into business soon after finishing school i.e., Trotro mate. He also traded in stationery, Jewelry, and Textiles. He left his private business to work with Vanef/Europcar as a driver and Sales Representative. Seth returned to his private business, where he founded YOKS Investment Limited in 2001 as a sole proprietorship with just one-Car.

Throughout his career, Seth has demonstrated continuous leadership in business excellence, strategic thinking, and project execution. He is an award–wining entrepreneur, he believes in Integrity, Humility, and “Believe in Oneself”. Seth has been featured in public speaking engagements aimed at promoting “thoughtful” leadership and inspiring the youth to take their destiny into their own hands.

He drove and managed YOKS with a single-minded vision to become not only the number one but the most reliable Car Rental company in the country. Today, after over two decades, YOKS Investments Limited is now in an enviable position as the most reliable Car Rental / Transportation management company, within its industry in Ghana; with a highly recognized “brand” that equals and rivals any of the known international brands.

In 2017 Seth was nominated as the acting President of the Car Rentals Association of Ghana (CRAG) and became the substantive President of CRAG from 2018 to 2023.

Seth believes that education is a pillar and foundation for the youth to attain higher heights. This led him to sponsor the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition in Ghana which led to an invitation from Her Majesty the Queen of England to a Reception at Buckingham Palace for the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition 2019 Awards Ceremony in the presence of H.R.H. the Duchess of Cornwall, Vice-Patron, The Royal Commonwealth Society.

The following are some notable projects/programs that Seth has led CRAG to undertake. A stakeholders forum organized by CRAG in 2017 at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, which brought together Insurance Companies, Car dealerships, and representatives from Ghana Tourism Authority. The event was used to raise funds for the Association Secretariat and enhance services to drive tourism. Tourism Exhibition organized by CRAG at the Elwak Stadium in 2017, which brought together personalities such as the second Lady of the Republic H.E. Samira Bawumia, The Sector Minister of Tourism Arts and Culture Hon. Catherine Afeku (MP), the Diplomatic Corps, Mr. Akwasi Agyeman - CEO of Ghana Tourism Authority, Greater Accra Regional Police Commander, among others.

Setting up a CRAG Secretariat, Domain/Website, and Database for the Association Signing an MOU with Toyota Ghana Company Limited for members to pay a 30% down payment and pick any Vehicle of their choice and pay the balance within 12 months including two (2) years of free maintenance

Led a campaign for the Government to abolish the Luxury Vehicle Tax Levy
